About us

Welcome Aboard!

“Boating is in our blood,” my father used to say, and it’s a sentiment that has guided my life. From as far back as I can remember, we always had a boat and seized every opportunity to be out on the water. My mother was an avid fisherman, and thanks to her skill, we often enjoyed fresh, delicious catches straight from the sea.

In 1995, we took a big step and purchased a 35-foot cruiser, which we ran as a Hire and Drive business for five wonderful years. That experience deepened my love for boating and inspired me to pursue more formal training. Joining the local Marine Rescue was the next chapter in my journey, where I gained valuable experience and advanced my skills to the Coxswain level after 10 years of dedicated service.

Still eager to grow, I upgraded my qualifications to become a licensed vessel “Master,” earning a government-issued commercial license. Beyond boating, I’ve found immense fulfillment volunteering with a Medical Ship, traveling to remote locations to assist those in need.

Through this website, I aim to share my passion, experiences, and practical knowledge about boating. Whether you’re new to the water or a seasoned sailor, I hope you find valuable insights and inspiration here.

Happy boating, and welcome to the adventure!

Larry
